Round pickup selector switch for series bass
« on: June 09, 2024, 04:36:06 PM »
I just went to the on-line store to look for a round pickup selector knob with the white dot on but it is showing as currently not available. I wonder if anyone has one in their box of spares, preferably in really good condition to match the others,  that is surplus to requirement. There is nothing physically wrong with the standard pointy one one on my bass but my fingers catch it when slapping. I don't mind a one for one exchange if that works for anyone.

Hey Jazzyvee,

Banging into that point is NOT a good thing!  I'd say at least change the direction of that knob so that it points away from the pickups when in the "on" position.  You should be able to do that simply by loosening the set screws, moving the knob to the angle you want, and retightening.
