A question of Stereo output capability on SC Sig Deluxe

HI, I am loving the stereo output of my 2004 SC Brown Bass with Signature Electronics.  I had thought that my recently purchased 2007 Stanley Signature Deluxe would also be able to send each pickup to a different amp and plugged it in to the same setup with a stereo cable but it does not appear to have stereo output.   Of course it does have a detente centered pickup selector to mix the two pickups, just not individual outs.  Presume that may have been an option like the additional 5 pin jacks seen on the Series 1 and II basses.

Hi Todd, your brown basses will come with a stereo jack and the signature basses come with a mono output jack. You can, as i did, order a wiring loom from alembic to convert the signature electronics to anniversary electronics. Then you can have separate pickup outputs.Then you can either drill two holes to mount the pickup selector switch and mono/stereo switch or insulate them and leave them both inside the cavity switched to whichever options you prefer. That is how my conversion is at the moment until i feel brave enough to drill the bass.

so if i understand this correctly, i could convert my Mark King Signature deluxe to anniversary and have stereo output?  how does the volume/pan change if at all?

That would be great Jazzyvee, leaving it in the cavity.  I mistakenly thought they both had Anniversary Electronics.  Only got the build card a day ago.
QUESTION.  Would the pan knob still work to adjust the volume between the pickups sent to each amp?
  I have a brilliant two amp method using Genzler or GK Neo bottoms and tried it tonight with my Brown Bass - would bring the brown with flats and the deluxe with rounds and be able to create amazing sounds.  Woohoo!!!!  Thanks.
P.S.  No worries on the “hi-jack” about the Mark King.

The 5-pin out is not an option on Series instruments; it is a key stock feature.

I believe Anniversary electronics would give you two individual volume controls for each pickup in the positions where your Signature has master volume and pan.  Plus a switch near the output jack to choose between mono and stereo.  And you know, if you think a pan pot would be more fun in stereo mode then you could probably request that - because anything is possible.

my other basses are stereo only, so i could live without a mono/ stereo switch. i really don't like  vol/vol setups ( which is why ive never bonded with an SI), master vol/pan would be the bomb imho.
would this conversion be do-able? without drilling? for not an
astronomical $ layout?

Yes you can convert it. I had previously modified my signature basses with 3 position q switches so my later conversion to anniversary didn't need those switches added. I wanted vol/vol rather than a pan, but like Jimmy J mentioned above if you prefer the pan, alembic can make that happen.
