Anything by Ashdown or Hitone (Hitones are modern builds of the old Hiwatt amps) will work just fine. Hats off to Demeter, too, as they make fine bass amps.

Done three gigs so far and there are only two ampeg rigs, one on each side of the drum kit.  So i just use the one on stage right. They sound fine but not as much low end as my barefaced cabs and off axis on the big stages the ampegs don't do much at all.
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

@JazzyVee - I purchased a set of really nice earphone (N64 A12's) which have subwoofers and are molded to your ears... that combined with the new Backbeat Gen2 makes a nice experience to hear the clarity of the Alembic bass regardless of the stage amp.   Some backline companies out here (Backline Source, formerly West Coast Backline) in Livermore CA has Mesa Boogie (and lots of Ampeg SVTs, too.).  Good luck with the tour!
