[CLOSED] 1969 Martin 12-string
« on: September 04, 2022, 11:05:24 AM »
Time to free another one from the locker...

Survivor of The Great Folk Scare. I've had this old girl a long time. If I was going to keep it, I'd have my buddy Ward reset the neck and put a new bridge on it. That's about all it needs. The frets were dressed up a few years ago, and it's been played just a few times since. It's playable as-is. As I said, she's 53 years old and needs a neck reset. The bridge has been shaved to keep the action in range.

No cracks or repairs. Mild playing wear. Replaced pickguard is tortoise celluloid. Strung with Elixir extra-lights. I generally detune a full step, and use a capo. I'll include the 12-string capo, the leather strap, the hip little leather hootenanny strap loop too. It's in a newer Martin hardshell case.

$1500, shipped domestically.

Just the thing for those Gordon Lightfoot singalongs.  I wish I needed one, I’d buy this in a flash.

Yep, this one could sure bring the Gordon, Rich. Fine old guitar. I'll miss it.

I'm going to drop it off tomorrow at Fret Mill Music to sell it.
