Local UFO fly by

After a gig at a marina Sat. night I saw Elon Musk's string of satellites cruse over and fly directly overhead. I didn't know what they were then. It was weird to say the least.


Why are there so many in a line? There looked to be around 30 plus.


It kinda looked like he launched a long string of silver Teslas into orbit.

The longer I live on this crazy rock, the more I think, yeah... outer space, or at least low orbit seems like a better gig. On the other hand, drugs might get me there faster and cheaper. What with rockets and Tesla's being outside my budget.

I see those occasionally from my perch in the hot tub. Early separation before being directed to their own orbits. Skylink.
One night I spied an object following the ISS. Texted my nerd brother and he said it was a Falcon9 supply rocket so docking with the ISS.  Folks…..this stuff can all be seen with the naked eye in the night sky even if you live in the city!  It’s fascinating, and it’s Free entertainment. Just get a couple free phone Apps the track the night sky….there’s even apps for the airliners flying overhead. The app identifies the flight, type of plane, speed altitude, origin & destination….even hot air balloons are tracked.

Uncle Sam's Navy (a huge operator of satellites) for years ran a project where two satellites were in formation.  From the ground, it looked like two dots side by side as they swept by in the night sky.
