Modular connectors for a 94 Essence

Kind Alembic Folk -

i purchased the Q switch (3 position) for my 94 Essence 5 string, but while i was installing it the wire from one of the pickups broke right before the modular connector.  (you know where Mica says don't pull the connector out by the wire... she is right.  sigh.)

Where can I buy the crimp metal thingy that goes in the connector?  not sure if its a standard one or...

It's probably best to get a short length of pre-crimped wire and splice it on (don't forget the shrink tubing!). We will pop one in the mail to you tomorrow to the address we sent the Q switch.

The crimp is standard, but the crimping tool is outrageously expensive for a one-off job - like over $100.
