1983 Spoiler

1983 Alembic Spoiler, 32" scale, in user condition. Plenty of wear on this one. Back plate is not original. Electronics work fine.

Serial Number: 8352650
Nut Width: 1.78“
1st Fret: 0.86“
12th Fret: 0.93“
Neck Type: Rounded
Finger Board: Ebony
Pickups: Original
Weight: 8lb 10oz


Would prefer local pickup in central Virginia otherwise $2750 plus shipping

If anyone's curious, the backplate is sapele, laminated to some plastic stock, shielded inside and finished outside. I made it for Slam last year. (forgetting momentarily, his Spoiler was koa... not mahogany)   ::)

I appreciate what appears to be natural wear on the finish - it gives this bass character.

Totally agree ! It looks well loved, yet loved :) It's the perfect look for that bass. Slam, is that Ivan "Slammer" ? Either way, great bass and perfect weight ! What's the scale length ? 32" or 34" ? Thanks , Mike
