I would expect this one to be a custom as it's a series bass, maybe that is the one his friend is thinking of and not the white bass.
Not a valid youtube URL
No his friend talks about only the white thing which sounds very weird.

I just looked it up on fb and found this image of the bass before the alembic logo was added.

You found the same photo I was going to post.

I was also going to post a picture of the buckeye burl topped bass in the video you posted. From that picture I wasn't sure if it was his or another person in the photo as the other person was playing it.

I also found plenty of footage of Ivore De Mel  playing a well loved Epic bass. I don't know why he put the logo on the white bass nor why he insists that it is an Alembic as it appears he has plenty of experience with their instruments.

Maybe the white bass was the first one made by Allen Lembik?   So it is an Al Lembik!   That’s about as close as it’s gonna get to an Alembic instrument.

Bill, tgo

Yeah He owns a beautiful Epic 5 Zebrawood and Another Buckeye Burl topped beauty. really i didn’t  get the point why he insists that white thing as an alembic and serial is 001.
