ebay fraud alert

first one of the year as far as i can tell.  looked too good to be true and sure enough...

I don't bother with EBay. Plus you now get 1099 forms if you sell something over $600.

Reverb is doing the same thing.   Time to try another go-round with the old standby, Craigslist.

PayPal is doing the same thing.

The 1099 is the form used to report income and income tax withheld that is not reported on other forms to the Internal Revenue Service. Like many things tax related its use has seemed to expanded over the years to snag more tax revenue.
