looking for an Alembic bass
« on: October 31, 2021, 10:16:03 PM »
I've been playing bass for... long enough that I ought to play better than I do. But I'm good enough at it to be playing with some excellent musicians I enjoy playing with, and is there really anything better than that?

I don't have an Alembic bass yet, but I'm shopping - looking for short or medium scale 4 string. I was given a generous gift certificate at Thunder Road Guitars so I'm hoping they'll find one for me. But if I find a nice Distillate at a reasonable price I might just find the cash....

Thanks. Trust me, I'm keeping a really close eye on the Thunder Road web site ;)

That one's a beauty, and I think it's a bargain at the price. If it was a 4-string 32" or short scale, I'd be probably be posting pictures of my new bass in Showcase. But it's a 34" 5-string.
