Bob Weir - The Other One
« on: May 31, 2021, 08:56:33 PM »
Finally got around to watching the Bob Weir documentary, The Other One, on Netflix.  Enjoyed it; very well done.  Understandably left a lot out; but a nice piece on its own.  Recommended for those who haven't seen it yet.

I concur.  Very well done - and a natural addition to Phil's, Billy's, Mickey's, Parish's, etc.'s books (and considering his dyslexia, no doubt a more comfortable for him to tell his version).

I’ve watched it a couple of times.  Love it!   I especially liked the scene near the end of Jerry scuba diving  with the Moray eel letting Jerry tickle its throat.

I saw a fairly recent Relix interview in which he noted that he's still working on his autobiography.  After watching the documentary, I'm thinking his book will be pretty fascinating.

Yes, I keep meaning to check that out. Also on my list, for the next time I am in planned convalescence, watch the Grateful Dead movie. I've only seen snippets and pieces here.
