Another one gone
« on: January 16, 2021, 08:06:40 PM »
As I have mentioned before, I believe in marking the passing of players who are not famous, as well as the legends.

Big Daddy Jim Doyle, drummer & BG vocalist for Johnny & The Boomers, passed away today; sorry, but I don't know of what or how old (but he was definitely one of the Boomers of the band name).
I do know he was a fine singer, a superb drummer (one of the few in these parts who wouldn't respond to a comment about dynamics with "Whadda ya mean?  I'm hitting them as hard as can!") and a hell of a great guy,

I, and many others, will miss him.
