Gerry's Cross The Mersey

Gerry Marsden (of Pacemakers fame), 78, died Jan. 3, 2021, "after a short illness in no way connected to COVID-19".

As I recall, Gerry & the Pacemakers, along with Freddy & the Dreamers, were on the very front lines of the British Invasion, just behind the Beatles.   I always liked this tune they performed on Ed Sullivan.

As I recall, Gerry & the Pacemakers, along with Freddy & the Dreamers, were on the very front lines of the British Invasion, just behind the Beatles.
