The Jeopardy Game

The Jeopardy Game:

As I suspect many others have been doing, we’ve spent a lot more time at home watching TV this year.  We watch Jeopardy every night.  Of course we were saddened when Alex Trebeck passed recently.  The last shows he recorded run M-F next week.

Anyway, I got to wondering what would be the most ideal categories I could possibly hope for if I were a contestant.  This lead me to suggest the following game.     List your six most ideal categories.   The categories should be general enough to be like a real Jeopardy category.   For example, a “Grateful Dead” category is a little too specific, but “Hippie Bands of the 60’s” works.

There are only two rules:

     1.    Six categories, all different.    Can’t have “Bands of the 60s” as one category and “Bands of the 70s” as another.

     2.    Can’t use a category connected to your employment or where your vocation provides you with a special depth of knowledge.  For example, as a lawyer I can’t use any category concerning the judicial/criminal justice system, or the Constitution.  And, given my specialization in cannabis law, I can’t include a category based on cannabis or controlled substances in general. So I’ll kick it off.

Here’s my six ideal Jeopardy categories:

Hippie Bands of the 60s
1950s & 60s Broadway Musicals
Tropical Fish
Sports Cars
Take Me Out to the Ball Game
An Offer You Can’t Refuse (All answers from Godfather Trilogy)

Anyone interested?
