Alembic Showroom Skylark LEFTY Demo
« on: September 17, 2020, 12:24:45 PM »
I always alert the Alembic Club before I offer demo models anywhere else.We have a new Skylark in production for our showroom and so it means I get to find a new home for this lovely and technically new guitar, though we made it in 2002. It's sold with a full warranty of course, and aside from some very scant wear it's in nearly new condition as well.

A new Skylark is $9700, this demo is less than half at $4200.

I don't know why, but most lefty guitars just look weird to me.   Maybe if I played it in a mirror ...?

Maybe the picture is backward and it's right handed!

;D  I actually thought about that, but the logo is [squint]... ahh nevermind. Mica doesn't let that kinda' stuff by.

That's gonna' make someone else a great deal on a sweet guitar.

Nice looking guitar.  Has a new era in background rug been initiated with the new location?  :)

I was admiring the rug, too. Kind of with Bill about looking at left-handed instruments, always a bit unnerving for some reason, but thats a nice clean-looking guitar.

Yeah, I wonder why it's so weird because we literally just flip the templates over so it's a perfect mirror image any yet...

It's of course better looking in person, as usual. And this it the rug in the new Showroom :)

I have always thought that Fenders look very strange in left handed versions.
Mostly, I think it is due to the head stocks and the graphics look like a fish out
of water.

My question is do the lefty versions have the "Alembic" name on the pick-ups
on the bottom left as opposed to the bottom right?  Just kidding...
