That’s a very strange way to try to sell an Alembic Bass.

There's been an Epic 6 up that general way for a while... (I wanna' say it's wenge'-topped...) might be it, but yeah... that's almost intentionally vague. Weird. Break out the 12-foot pole.  ;D

In a perfect world if someone was going to try to learn bass it would make sense to start with a quality instrument.  You don’t want to be fighting bad action and dead spots on the neck whilst learning the ways of a bass... let alone a 6er.

Just sayin’.   ;)

Imagine if it was a Bass VI style 6-string?!

Yep, that would be an Epic 6, in long-scale.  :)

The only reason I'm aware of it is I've been specifically watching the northeast U.S. for a stolen Distillate that went missing last year in Pennsylvania. That Epic 6 (or one like it) kept coming up in searches.

It's probably legit, and that's not a bad price... use caution though, CL is Chock-Full-o-Nuts.
