I've had one of these and while it was fantastic sounding and allowed so many sounds, the "Rocket Science" factor was overwhelming.  It's bigger and heavier than I needed, and the menu dive can be deep but difficult to adjust while playing out.  If you have roadies and a lot of time, this system is perfect.

Not mention at the time is was expensive as heck.   My mini pedals velcroed on a piece of Futon frame work much better for me at 1/4 the price.

Not to say it isn't for you, it's a wonderful unit!
The only thing that stays the same is change.

It certainly is a heavy unit. Add a flight box and yep need a cart to move it, lol

I have a previous MFX unit so I'm pretty used to menus and all that good stuff, and time yeah who has plenty of that! Programming that is better than TV so yep.
I'd never play around with editing in the middle of a show, but it is nice when things are dialed in and you just have to push the button. Next show is 3/13 so I'll get to see how it goes live.

That learning curve seems to be part of the joy about discovering all the posibilities of a new gear/instrument.
Not just a bass, this is an Alembic!

Maybe last followup and this thread can slide into the past:

Played the first show with it before the quarantine began (3/13) and have to say I was very pleased with the way everything went.  It's awesome to have control from one unit.

I did find the need to adjust the level of the compressor. It was a little low when I kicked in the effects with compression. Using the boost switch fixed it for that show, but I want to fine tune more. SO aside from a tweak here and there, it's a winner (for me.)

(we were supposed to play the 27th, but that isn't happening)
 :(

I feel your pain. I had a string of great shows all cancelled, from the best of the local theaters to a street concert in Telluride where they shut down everything and we have had audiences of 3-5,000 and a gig at the Pepsi Center. But, everything is being put in perspective in a hurry. Be well!

You too, Edwin. Everything is perspective. Peace and love.
