Shrine Auditorium, LA, 52 years ago today, was the first known performance of "Dark Star".
Or maybe not "performance", but rather "conveyance"; I once read where one of them - I think it was Mickey, but could have been Jer - said "I think 'Dark Star' is always playing somewhere in the universe; we just tap into it now and then".
