Can this type of "ding" be drop-filled with crazy glue?

Since this is on the part of the bass that my arm rests, and does go down to the bare wood, can this type of "ding" be drop-filled with crazy glue? This is a 1977 Series I that was refinished by Alembic in 1981. If I read my history of Alembic finishes threads correctly, that means a satin polyurethane finish (I think).

I'm not overly concerned about the appearance, I'm more concerned about the ding enlarging since that's on a contact/wear part of the bass, and the bare wood is in contact with my forearm, which sweats in direct proportion to how well the gig is going.

If that doesn't work, you can use superglue.  Stewmac sells colored superglue, though it isn't necessary.  Here's a video explaining this process:

Yes, that could easily be filled and leveled. Though you could use it, there are much better products than Krazy glue brand... specially formulated CA glues that come in different viscosities and tints. I use one bought locally, just because it's cheaper. Usually goes bad before I can use it all.    (please 'scuse the dusty mess...)

in 1981 the finish is polyester, the same as we use today. Go ahead and use the cyanoacrylate glue, if it doesn't go well, you can remove with acetone and the polyester won't be affected byt the solvent.

If you try a hobby shop you may be able to get a hardener/spray to cure the cyanoacrylate glue quickly.
Baking soda also works but leaves a whitish non=clear residue where it reacts with the glue. Dries instantly!
