(x) History for 843194
« on: October 21, 2018, 07:11:54 PM »
Please let me know the history for serial number 843194.

I bought it in 1990 and I know the name of the previous owner, but I don't know where/when they got it. One of the pots has "1986" written in ink on it.

Thank you!

Here's what I have in the file:

top: Vermilion
accent: none
body: Mahogany
back: Vermilion
neck: Maple and Purpleheart
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: not recorded
birthday: June 15, 1984

The previous owner was in North Carolina, but the store we made the bass for was not recorded. I think you are the third owner from what I can tell.

Thanks Mica! 34" scale though :)

I lived in North Carolina when I bought it in 1990, and the store I bought it from (on consignment from the previous owner, Chris C.) was AL&M in Raleigh, NC — perhaps that was the original store you made it for?

Yeah, typo there.
There's no record of who we originally sold it to, so there's really no way to know, sorry.
