Hi I’m Dave and I’m based in the UK. I’ve had an F2B for a long time and use it in my keyboard rack. It’s an early single voltage 117 vac model and I’d like to convert it to UK voltage. I have tried emailing every email address on Alembics site about buying a replacement multiple voltage transformer from them but have never received a reply. Can anyone suggest who I could contact there?
Best
Dave

Hi Dave; welcome to the board.  Mica is probably the best person to contact for this issue.  However, it's a small shop and she has a lot on her plate; so patience is suggested.

If it's helpful to you, there is a post on this subject in our FAQ section:  http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=247.0

Hello David, thanks for the welcome! I will wait to see if Mica responds to the thread, if not I will send a PM. I would prefer to fit the proper transformer and keep it stock! I have seen some terrible hack jobs on vintage equipment!

To try another approach, could anyone tell me the manufacturer or serial or specs of the 240 v transformer and I’ll contact the manufacturer. I’ve been trying to get in touch with Alembic for about a year now so happy to explore other options!

I mentioned this to Mica last week, and she then searched her inbox but could not find an email from you.  You might want to try again.

Hi David
I have tried all the email addresses in the “Contact Us” section already several times. I have just tried sending one to mica at Alembic  dot com to see if that works. Thanks again
Dave

When I first bought my bass, I tried contacting through the contact page and never heard back. I tried calling a few times. When I got through, Mica said there was no mail from me. I know I sent it. But she did say my registration went through. SO, I dunno. I was glad to get someone on the phone, but that's probably not a good option for you.

Thanks. So it’s not just me! I have tried contacting Mica though private message function.

I got a reply so my email is now working!

Hi David - I got your email you sent on Saturday (a forward from Aug 15 that I didn't see). Sorry, I was at the SF Pen Show on Saturday and I'm just getting to my emails from the weekend now.

You'll see delivery options and pricing in the email so you can pick up the conversation there.
