I actually bought that bass about a week or two ago. Funny thing though, after the deal was made with the seller, (I sent an offer and he accepted) he started coming up with caveats about the bass. He presented himself as though he was trying to cover his ass kind of assuming that there was going to be a problem. Or that is how it felt to me. After a few rounds back and forth I was left with an rather unsettled feeling and decided not to pursue the deal. The seller was the one that actually cancelled the deal but I was glad in the end because it just didn't feel right. 2 and 2 wasn't adding up to 4.
My take away from the things the seller said is that;
1. There "may or may not be" an issue with one or both of the truss rods.
2. There may be issues with the inlays beyond the obvious issue that one is missing at the 7th fret.
3. There may be issues with the electronics. (My best guess being that the preamp card needs to be updated)
