Value question - Skylark
« on: November 02, 2016, 05:59:38 PM »
Hello all.

I have a 2004 skylark that doesn't get played near as much as it should. I'm curious of a reasonable value on this for resale today. Coco-bolo top, led lights, continuous wood backplates and Abalone inlays. A fantastic guitar, but life seems to have happened. I know what I've paid, and understand deprecation but at a certain point I'll just keep it and try to work it into the regular rotation.

Thanks in advance!
Jay

I believe these days they're about an even trade for a Squier Tele; e-mail's in my profile to work out the swap........

There's a couple out there right now, I believe on Reverb.

One is $3,900.00 and the other is $6,499.00.

I'd say $6,499.00 is a wee bit steep.

Using that range, I'd say yours is probably a little north of $4k.

Did you ever end up selling your skylark? Seriously interested, if it's still available, and if you would like to give it a happy home. Let me know!
