Interesting Alembic Hybrid on Reverb

Now here's something you don't see everyday!   I could be wrong, but to me the wings look more like Zebrawood than Wenge.  (And, of course, the pickup aren't installed correctly).

I saw that one too, but didn't take it seriously enough to read the description/explanation... very interesting indeed. Especially the EVH electronics! 

*I have some wenge' that looks like that on the flatsawn edge, but I agree that could easily be taken for zebrawood.
