She's amazing! I discovered her about 10 years ago, but have always wondered why I didn't know about her 45 years ago.

Maybe I just move in the right circles; I would never have thought of her as unheralded.  But I've only known about her for about 40 years.

It is a blessing that technology allows us to discover what has been around us for so long, just not always revealed to the masses...

Bessie Coleman comes to mind as another 'unheralded hero' in the field of aviation.
