Jonathan:
I hope you have better luck with it than I did. I tried one a couple of years ago and returned it when the bug broke in less than a week. This also happened to one of the four reviewers on harmony-central.com. I used wireless for almost 20 years until I was forced back to a cord when I started playing synth with my Alembicized Fernandes Masterhand (the leaf guitar). I also found that the sound of the AKG was not as good as with my old reliable NADY 201 true diversity system. You can pick these up on ebay for a song. I got several (all the same frequency) and just kept a transmitter clipped onto the strap of each guitar I was playing, so I could change guitars without having to plug and unplug the transmitter. I've also fooled around a little with a two amp setup where I just used two recievers, one for each amp. This actually works very well. The bug is a great concept, I hope they've worked out the bugs in it since I tried one.
