Just finished listening to the remastered deluxe version  of Fish out of Water and Boy! is it good. It's been quite some time since I listened to my original LP and I'd forgotten just how melodic and powerful his playing is in this setting. The opening tracks, Hold out your Hand and You by my side are phenomenal and display Squire's writing and playing talents perfectly. The second disc has the old promo videos that I first saw when the Yessongs movie came out. It also has an interesting interview with Squire and he gives a director's commentary which is quite insightful. All in all, ?10 well spent and a must for any bassist. Interestingly, for a rock album, the only guitar parts are a couple of noodles played by squire himself on a rickenbacker 12 string acoustic.

I was just looking at that online yesterday..  I'd love to have the autographed copy, and apparently Chris and Scotty (his son?) are processing the orders themselves and will customize the autograph if you wish...

Short for Scotland (according to the new liner notes. Must be about his 4th 'lifetime' partner ;-)
