Hey everybody!!!
« on: December 24, 2008, 05:03:36 PM »
Wow, it's been quite some time since I've been here so I thought I'd stop by and say hi! I hope everyone is well. I still have my Epic, but have also picked up a Jazz (American made) bass a few years ago as I heard Rami say good things about them. I have to admit, I play the Fender almost as much as my Epic ;) But enough of that.....

Have I missed much since I've been away? How is Paul TBO?? I see many names that I remember from the past, so chime in and say hi and fill me in to the goings on the past few years!

Hi Paul!!  Have you missed much?  Yes!  And Paul TBO, I speak with him every once in a while; he seems to be doing well, and playing well.  And yes, many folks still drop in after work, or during work, for a coffee or beer.  Some get tied up with life, but get back as soon as they can; some wander off for a while and then return again; and of course new folks wander in all the time.  We're still playing music, sharing tunes and pictures and gigs with each other.  The guitar players are still discussing which overdrive pedals work best with Alembics; I think they've narrowed it down to a few favorites.  The bass players are still sharing info on rigs; there's a recent discussion of the newest Mesa head.  And the elves in Santa Rosa keep getting more and more amazing.  Check out some of the FTC threads!  Jimmy Johnson has been dropping by from time to time, which is really cool!  There's been some threads on some of the older instruments, including David Crosby's twelve string.  And then there's ... and ... and oh yes ..

Welcome back!!

Well look who's here!  Hey Paul!  Gosh I haven't heard from or talked to Paul TBO in a while myself.  Since right before his trip to the States.
