You can't. I got my last ones from
juststrings
for a very reasonable price and a quick turnaround too. Apart from my latest Mk that still has the original strings, I've moved onto DR's coloured sets.

If you run a search on strings, I'm guessing you'll find dozens of previous threads on the subject; and you'll find that Alembic owners use lots of different brands, string types, and gauges. Personally, I use Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Rounds.

Hi Steve, you can buy Alembic strings on ebay where a couple of string sellers ship to the UK for around the ?5 ($10) mark. Once you have paid the ?25-30 on top of that for the strings I find the overall price a little high for my budget!
Im just a plain old fashioned Rotosound swing man myself!

I can vouch for Just strings, I got my alembic and other strings from there. Good prices as long as you don't get stitched up with the customs fee from the post office. I did the last time I ordered strings from there but they were still good value.
I can't find any Alembic or other Tenor or piccolo bass strings there. I'm thinking of stringing my Elan as either T or P bass when I can get some strings.
I was thinking if I couldn't find any, I may have to get a 6 string set and just use the top A D G C strings, but that seems a waste really.
