How do you guys resize photos for uploading?

I use Paint.net.

http://www.getpaint.net/

It's free and easy, and works well for most basic photo editing purposes.

Wait,

That bass has two sets of five knobs, plus a pickup selector.

Any ideas on what the electronics look like?

Mike; what kind of software do you use to edit pictures? Most editing software will have a Resize option in the menu.

I've used Irfanview for a long time.

I hardly ever (i.e. never) do any photo editing. All of the photos I've posted were pics that somone else took. I wanted to post some pics of my new to me Series 1 and Green SC but when I attempted to upload then, they exceeded the maximum size. I'll try one of these programs.

if you watch the grateful dead movie, they open up the back of this to show the electronics then Phil does some interesting things with interference from the camera as well as demonstrating the 30 foot high speaker stacks.

Totally jumping around, but regarding the controls on Phil's bass: page 14 of the liner notes to the new Winterland box set say the following about Phil's new bass:

Phil's new bass, for instance, was the first quadrophonic bass ever made. Each string had a separate signal. On each of the bass and treble pickups there were five controls, which enabled him to select 1) the bandwidth of the filter, 2) the center frequency of the filter, 3) the kind of filter he used, 4) how much of the filtered sound reached the speakers, and 5) to mix the unequalized and unfiltered direct sound.

Of course there's a picture of the Godfather pictured in this thread. The liner notes were written by Dennis McNally.
