I'm trying to swing a deal for a Modulus Q5 semi-hollow body. Anybody have experience with the semis? Care to share?

I've played a few, but not long enough to gain a serious impression. I think the neck and pickups/electronics tend to have a bit more influence on the tone in these basses, so the semi-hollow aspect might be fairly subtle. Cool instruments, though!

Thanks, Edwin. I have a Q4 but am moving to 5 strings these days. If I can sell the Q4 in time I can get the Q5.

I think that's a great move! I love the Modulus B strings!
