Today's Basstalk newletter had a link to an intriguing site for a company called Flite Sound. They make bass, guitar, keyboard and some PA cabs. Plus they appear to be starting a line of amps (they sell Clarus, too).
The deal on their cabs (which are reviewed positively by a few folks on Harmony Central, BGRA) is that they are super light. The cabinets are constructed of composite material of some sort and weigh in at next to nothing (i.e. 28 lb for a 115).
