Well, the time has come! This bass is for sale. I will update with the official specs soon, but here's the basic idea:
1992 4-string fretted Essence - 92 K 7248
Flame maple top w/awesome blue finish
34 scale 3-piece maple neck

The marks on the top of the headstock are into the wood and are pretty ugly, but luckily are not too visible from the front of the instrument. Also, there appears to be something loose in the wiring as the sound will cut out when the pan control is turned fully clockwise. Otherwise all is functional, and sounds fantastic.
Some other eBay-savvy club members surely recognize it and know what it cost me, and that's all I plan to get for it. $815 plus actual shipping costs brings this bass to your door.
