I think the idea was spurred by another experiment where I replaced the skin on a $10 dollar yard sale banjo with a large convex plastic lens. I'll have to take a picture of that one (and make sure it stays out of the sun).

As I was piecing together an old harmony neck on that hacked up kramer body I saw the door knocker sitting in a box and things progressed from there.
I need to add a tone control because all the zingy sitar sounds coupled with an amp can really aggravate the tinnitus.

elwoodblue..thanks and I have had a good weekend.
Been out drinking with a load of bass playing mates..the conversation through out the night was interesting..anyone in the vicinity of us would be wondering what the hell we were talking about.
I have mentioned in another thread tonight about jimmyj, John a bass player friend of mine who is great James Taylor fan could not beleive that I was on internet talking terms with Jimmy Johnson.
I am going to have to get him to my house to see the Alembic club to prove my claim!
