Welcome to the Alembic club and what a beautiful bass. Were the electronics upgraded? It was noticed that the pick ups have the recent Alembic logo that was not available in '82.  Any information on the history of this bass and the serial number is appreciated.

The bass was serviced in the 1990's, (exact date unkown) The electronics are factory original.  They were replaced, but with the original spec. at the factory.
The bass was originally ordered by Sound City studios in the San Fernando valley, Ca.  The bass has only been maintained by Alembic.  It plays and sounds beautifully!  If you have any further questions?  Please feel free to email me at:
