Series 2 and Spoiler ahoy!

I looked at the Series II at Willies yesterday.  The store was packed, and my time was short.  The power supply wasn't available (they were short staffed, and I didn't make them run to the basement to find it).  There were a few issues: I think some of the cover plate screws are not original, and 1 is missing from the battery cover.  The non-original screws look larger than stock, and I would be concerned that the threaded inserts had pehaps been stripped forcing the larger screws in.  There is either a crack or a deep scratch on the fingerboard pickup.  The nut is not adjustable, the fingerboard LEDs are unbound (as you would expect on a 1978).  Other than that, it is a marvelous bass.  If someone wants a more detailed report, let me know and I will try to get back to Willies during a lunch break this week.
