Mislabeled as maybe Alembic guitar on ebay

Here with $2700 starting price.

Looks like a Ibanez Musician to me. But I thought they had a more Alembic looking bridge than is currently on this guitar.

That is almost certainly an Ibanez Musician.  Ed Wynne in Ozric Tentacles plays that model and has for years.  None of the hardware on that instrument suggests that it's an Alembic.

Not a musician, but the headstock shape does scream Ibanez.  Either that or some other brand out of the  Matsumoku factory.

I don't think it's an Ibanez. The woodworking seems close, but the hardware is all wrong. I'm thinking Vantage or Aria. Definitely Japanese. It could be any number of random brands, but I think Bill is probably right about the factory of origin.

Ibanez Musicians from the 70s and 80s are cool guitars and an upgrade from what this seems to be.

I really like the late 70's Musician Basses too.
