on e-Bay?  Looks awfully pretty to me!  Too bad I have no cash.  Maybe some other Alembician can give this a home.

That seems too nice to modify.

Medium scale too!

I would say that it is perhaps one of  the most original specimens that I have come across in such well preserved condition. A very favourable attribute is the fact that it has the Hagstrom/Guild pickups ; these are the ones that you want.  I would leave this one    original as it is !  An Alembic F-2B  or F1-X with an SF-2 would be a nice signal process path for it.

That just makes me weep.... it looks just like mine did before I messed with it, armed with power tools, at the tender age of 15. Yes it will sound great through an SF2. ( mine does!)

It is just about perfect. I am skeptical of the medium scale, though. It looks more or less like my Starfires. The price is right, but I expect it to climb significantly before it's all over.

Nnek, any pictures? We love Starfires around here!
