Yep it was a great bass. It had an extra pair of pickups which were custom wound for Stanley Clarke. I drove to the Bay area to buy it from a nice fellow. I paid $6K for it from him. I ended up selling it to the current owner for $5.5K, so he got a nice bass and I took a loss on it. I would buy it back for what I sold it for, but not $7.8K like the owner expects to get.
