I know most of you guys on this board are based outside the UK, but for the benefit of any lurking Englishmen or visitors to these shores, I thought I'd let you know that my new side-project, Broken Angel, will be playing on Thursday 8 July at the Metro Club on Oxford St, London. Onstage 10:30pm, expect funky and soulful sounds.
I don't think I'll be using the Alembic for this one, though - The Metro Club is a kinda 'down and dirty' venue (small stage, usually packed, no air con, punters literally two feet in front of you), so I'll probably be either taking the Status KingBass (headless and light - easy to manouevre in a confined space) or giving the Stingray an outing (those things are built like tanks, so I can safely bounce it off low ceilings and punters' heads . . .).
