If it was me in this situation, I would probably be ready to chew nails.  However, this is Austin's custom, and IMHO, it seems like this sort of thing should really be between Alembic and him.  I'm guessing at this point he is plenty frustrated, and doesn't need anyone to get angry on his behalf.  Just my two cents.

Ditched the metal parts idea, actually. Carbon parts are to arrive in about 10 days. I know you will be excited to see them - not only will it shave a good deal of weight off, but it looks much better and operates with MUCH more ease. Once that puppy's here, your bass will really start movin' - plus, I convinced my mom to make another one for our showroom at the same time since we are currently without one.

so what parts exactly are you expecting, mica? all of the end pin pieces (pin, adjustment parts, etc), or something else? just curious.

It's the telescoping end pin and some of the adjustment parts. Since these are embedded inside the body, we've completed everything that can be done until these are installed.

I am excited  to see what this will look like when done.  The sound will surely be superb.

We're probably going to use a different tip, but we're not totally decided on that yet (won't be anything that holds up other decisions).
