I love Glockenklang stuff. You can't go wrong with any of their amps/cabs. I know Trip Wamsley uses them too. Makes sense if you've got high end basses. The Glocks are very pure and clean sounding but still have a nice warm tone with crystaline high end. The EQ is VERY musical and perfectly voiced.

WoW there are some great rigs...I thought mine was a Frankenstien of a rig. It doesn't come close to some of the listed groupings mentioned here...

Running FULL RANGE into a Hartke 4x10 and a Trace Elliot 1518.  
Just purchased a few five strings - need to fine tune the sound for those bad boys...

pmoran, Am I understanding this correctly? Are you successfully using the INFRA processor with the smaller bag end 18's? The non-ELF'S?

hi, barry. sorry for the delay in responding. no, the  M-2 is feeding the ELF low signal only to the red series ELF 18 cab and the two black carpet ELF 18's. the AH-350-SMX is sending part of that low ELF signal to the red carpet cab, and the AH-1000-7 is feeding part of the low ELF signal to the two black carpet cabs. as dan from bag end explained it to me after their tech guys looked at my cabs and heads, the M-2 requires a full signal input not coming out of any kind of effects loop sends that would amount to high pass outputs. the M-2, after receiving a full range signal w/o any EQ alterations (it's got to be a pure low pass signal unaltered in any manner or form), then has to send the INFRA signal to dedicated amps in order to effectively drive the ELF bag end cabs to the full 7Hz level. if you hook an M-2 integrator/processor up to any non-ELF cab, even a non-ELF bag end cab, you'll blow the driver! don't do it. dan warned me strongly about never hooking an M-2 up to a non-ELF cab. serious damage will occur and will void any warranty!

My amps aren't as exotic as the ones some of you use but I like the way my Alembics and my upright sound through them.  I have a Gallien Krueger Backline 100 watt 110 combo for small gigs and my living room and a GK 700RB 1x15 combo with a Behringer 2x10 cab.
For 15 years I had a Rickenbacker 115 combo.  I didn't use it anymore and found it a home with a major Rick fan.  A sale is a sale but it's always gratifying to pass something along to someone who really loves it.

I've been reading good stuff about them, but haven't been able to find any to play through.

I had a little play with one of these Yamaha BBT amps a few months ago. There's a lot of processing going on in a little box and it sounded pretty good in the store - Big Rock in Hull, UK. Give them a try.

hey, fc_spoiler (sorry, you don't have a name posted on your profile), what is the story behind the broken axe on the wall? also, the story behind the autographed axe on the right? i've got an autographed green day fender strat i bought at auction to benefit the american cancer society. bought it 8 years ago when they were famous..........but..........American Idiot! little did i know what i bought for charity when they weren't exactly at a high point in their careers would be worth now. please fill us in. very intriguing. and, jeez, what a rig. i thought i had some deafening stuff!

oh, i had numerous screwups in the post on my rig. his name is dan saraceno, i think. he's the wiz of bagend. he walked me thru the initial setup. i've since re-arranged everything. all of the ELF 18's are on the ground. the non-ELF 18 is in the center on top of an ELF 18. the monitors are on the sides and spread out farther. the bagend 15 is deadcenter next to the non-ELF 18 and gives me a really nice high end presence in my face. the throw on the mix is about 3 feet out. closer in, all you get is pressure and almost silence. i'm used to this from working all the concerts i did in the late '70's and early 80's while i was in law school and i was the head of backstage security for StoneCity here in san antonio. nicest guy i ever met was theodore nugent. his then wife was also very nice. took her down the riverwalk and to the alamo so she could do photo's w/her collection of nikons. most interesting was alice cooper. took him to luchesse boots to pick up his 11 pairs of ostrich, kangaroo and antelope boots. we ate pizza and he sawed on my head w/a prop sword that night. god i wish i could find someone who was snapping all those pics w/the flashes that night. he told me he hated blue shirts and i wore a blue IZOD shirt that night. we ran around san antonio in my porsche that night, got a pizza at a closed pizza parlor (they couldn't believe who was banging on the glass that night.....it was cool!).  oh, well. tales from the past. glenn hughes was an incredibly nice person. he's very kind and he loves his fans genuinely.

Recently begun using 2 different Allesandro Working Dog amps.  My 1st is a 40 watt Rottweiler with 2x12 Jensen speakers.  The final output attenuates down 50% to make it as low as a 20 watt amp.  This is a 6L6 tube type amp and sounds like a vintage Fender Vibrolux amp.  
 
My new (and favorite Dog) is my 40 watt Dobberman which atteuates down 25% (or to 10 watts for breakup at lower volumes).  This combo has 1x12 Celestion Neodymium speaker for less weight and sounds great.  It has EL34 tubes for a more Marshall tone.  This is the ultimate gigging amp, it screams as necessary, but is small, easy to carry and unassuming.
 
All of the Working Dogs are hand-wired, point to point and built carefully and with love by George Allesandro.  While they lack some of the extras- no fx loop, no recording out, no boost switch, not even a channel switch, they sound so good it doesn't matter.  I put a Budda Phatman, and a Budda Wah in front and that's all I need.
 
Anyone else out there try the Working Dogs or Allesandro's high-end amps?

Your rig is awesome (like your basses btw) I bet if you turn it up to ludicrous volume, the tremors could be felt on this side of the huge swimming pool. Way to go, and thanks!

As for my guitars, I used a little 40 watt Hiwatt combo (Just visible on top of my H/H amp) for small performances and home playing (that little sucker goes LOUD) and for the larger gigs I use a Peavey Classic combo with six boss pedal all ran straight in, not multi effects or looping bull&*%$ for me.

I sold my Ampeg SVT 3 Pro and bought a Mesa/Boogie Strategy 400 all tube 2 x 200 watt poweramp. I'm using the Markbass as preamp and for backup. The Strategy can handle 2 ohms on each channel, so I can hook up all my cabs (+more)
Tone is  amazing!
