I'll be in Denver (Broomfield) 1/26 - 1/28, heading home the morning of the 29th.
It's a business trip - but I would like to have fun.
Any good jams in the area?
-
I'll be playing at Quixotes on the 28th with Shakedown St. Get in touch if you want to make it down and I'll put you on the list. It's your typical Grateful Dead dive bar but with a lot of heart.
You can hear my Series I and ever evolving rig.

That is great! Quixotes is not very far from the Buckhorn Exchange - we usually always stop there for at least one meal. Is this an 'invite only' type event?
I may have a few people with me - let me contact the people that I normally hang with when I am out there. I will get a head count and send an e-mail to the address in your profile later this week.
-
No invite necessary, it's a bar open to all and sundry and believe me, the sundry show up! Be prepared for the waft of patchouli and the sight of dreads and tie dye and the sounds of long guitar jams as well as drums and space.
I don't know how many people I can put on the guest list, but I'll do what I can.
-
Edwin - not sure if you got my e-mail or not.
Myself and Kevin A. will be there.
Looking forward to long trippy jams! :-)
-
Hm, that's odd. I did get your email and replied to it. You are on the list. If there's an issue when you get there, just ask the door guy to get me.
See you in a week!
-
hmmm - I'll check my spam filter (that was sent from my work e-mail)- no worries!
It'll be fun to meet!
-
Wish I could make it over. Maybe next time.
Watch the ceiling, LOL. When I was at Quixotes last January, a big chunk of the ceiling actually crashed to the floor.
Have a good time!!

Rich - I didn't realize you were in Colorado also!
The harness is working well with the slight adjustment that we discussed.
-
Paul, I live in the sticks in Western Colo. I wish I could come over to the Denver area this weekend but too much is happening right now. Glad the harness is agreeing with you. I assume you are talking about leaning it to the side. I said I would make a new, angled frame for you if necessary. Let me know if you want one. I'll give you a call sometime soon.
How is the Status project going?
Enjoy Quixotes.
Edwin, hope the Shakedown St. gig goes well.

Status - isn't my project but the music director from Chess's project.
He is debuting it in New York - I just threw a promotional shout out for him because:
1) He's a really good person
2) The material is really solid and thought provoking.
3) He's a really good person
Look at that! I just hi-jacked my own thread! ;-)
-
Paul, I knew Status was the music director's. You were pretty excited about the material and I was wondering how the project was doing.
Are there any changes to your harness that you would like me to make?
Rich

The Status project is good - just needs some decent exposure at the Strawberry One-Act Festival.
Rich - I'll give you a call about the harness.
Not this week - I have alot to do at work yet and then travel out to CO. on Wednesday.

I'm hitting Quixotes again this weekend, in case anyone's in town.
