Title: A request to any Series I players in MD, DC or N.VA
Post by: DaveD on March 30, 2011, 08:35:04 PM
Ok, so I realize this is asking a bit much and I will totally understand if no one takes me up on this but I'm wondering if there are any Series I owners in Maryland, DC or Northern VA who would be willing to let me come to their home or practice area and try out their bass for a few minutes. I currently own 6 Alembics but none are Series basses and my only experience playing one was at the factory in 1999 when Mica let me play a 25th Anniversary bass. There was no power supply hooked up though so I only got to hear 1 pickup.

I'm at the point now where I'm trying to decide between a MK Balance K and a Series I and I feel I need a few minutes with one in order to make a decision. I think I know what the result will be but when spending this much $, I need to be sure. And no, there are no local dealers who have one in stock.

So if anyone is willing to entertain this idea, please hit me up. Here's my website so you can get a feel for who I am in advance. I assure you, I'm not a psycho!

Thanks in advance!

Dave:

I can't help you as I neither own a Series bass (I do have a Series guitar and 12 string guitar), nor do I live on the east coast, but I may be able to help your inquiry.  It's simple.  Get the Series, especially as you already have several non-series Alembics.  There is nothing like a Series instrument.
