Title: California 2015 - Saturday Sept 26
Post by: mica on May 13, 2015, 12:44:23 PM: Looks like we will be gathering in Canyon again, but not until later in the year. Right now, the tentative date is Sept 19, so pencil it in. Hope to firm it up soon.

Excited to see everyone again and enjoy some great music.

Post by: sonicus on August 07, 2015, 11:45:38 AM: Whoops , 9/19 had been mentioned before . I have a noonish gig @ Snappy's Cafe with Guitarist , Steve Burch in Hayward @ 978 A St. on 9/26 and a festival gig at the Hayward Memorial Park with my new Dead Band . The Other Guys on Sunday 9/27.

I will try to make the Gathering after my gig if I can .

Anyway, he has been driving truck all over the country 15 of those twenty years and I seem to be OK riding in his huge pickup truck. Can I just maybe show up or not, if he gets busy or whatever? I never know how I am doing on the long term, but I am feeling pretty good right now. Gots two or three basses to bring others might enjoy. I even have an Alembic 'stick' bass that might amuse a few.

I'm trying not to get too excited about tomorrow but I can't help it! Turns out my schedule changed so I can stay for the whole thing!!!

I set my stereo rig up again, played it mono into my GK, didn't get to play much but wanted to make sure I could get it working again in a timely fashion and take it apart quick too

We are in Culver City & went to see Snarky Puppy last night which was amazing! We have a full day's activities planned for Saturday so unfortunately making it to the ranch won't be possible. I hope everyone has a great time! I'm making plans now to attend next year, flying out just for the Gathering so I won't be trying to split time with my son.
