The Texas stable has grown by one as Doc Greene has rescued 5 string Epic from pawn shop incarceration & restored it to Alembic glory. So it needs a proper welcome to the family! I had to leave early last year to play a gig so I would love to come again & stay longer.
Any takers?

Wow... This would be my first Alembic gathering, ever. I mean, I found out yesterday my 8/27 gig was cancelled, my beautiful bride will be out of town, and then my finger seemed to move of its own accord to "Gatherings" after posting in "Wanted & Wishing". It's a sign from above! Divine intervention! Sleep deprivation?!
Anyway, I've been the proud owner of a vermillion-topped '96 Rogue for more than a few years now: it has both helped pay the mortgage and keep me sane! How many things in life can do that? But, I'm still crazy enough to drive from Austin to Dallas just to hang out with a bunch of Alembics and their caregivers. I would be most grateful to attend. Just tell me what to do!

Very excited to have you join us. Appears there will be at least 2 or 3 new club members there this Saturday. If you would shoot me a note as well (jterry@churchillterry.com), I can add you to the "final instructions" emails that will start flying shortly.

Looks like a great time... congrats, fellas!
What's the 5-string fretless with the knobby headstock? (front row, right next to the 8-string Spyder)
*and I just noticed Wayne's Anniversary Model 5-string. y'know... I coulda' got to Texas in 15 hours. ;D
-
Howdy Greg-
The knobby fretless would be my Go-To electric: "The Dark And The Light" (post repair). When I have a bit more time, I'll figure out how to post links to the Featured Custom page and the thread with the history.
And, yes, I still have 89-AM-008.

Aw, Wayne, what a nightmare! (and one that's going to fester while mine is finally in transit)
I had actually read that thread before, but it had slipped my mind DAL was yours. I like the replacement headstock, good call.
The Texas Gathering looks like a blast... I'd love to make it to one of those sometime. :)

Gregory, David comes down from Oklahoma to come to our Gatherings, so you don't have to live in Texas to attend! Come on down!!
