Title: New Netherlands Alembic Essence owner

I am a proud Dutch owner of a beautifull Essence 4. I began bass playing about 10 years ago on a Ibanez. I bought my Essence in '96 and wow, what a stunning sound, this feeling, it's just like a baby to me. I will send a picture shortly, maybe Mica or one of the others can tell me some details about my bass ? serial nr. 91K6585USA

Welcome aboard.  I started reading and posting at the time I got my Alembic ('88 Spoiler).  Not only are the residents of this neighborhood friendly and helpful - they really have a great deal of knowledge and insight that they share generously.  I am constantly impressed at the time members take to write technical notes in great detail.  Thanks to those of you who do from those of us who learn.
