Hi everybody! Although I purchased my first Alembic back in 2002, I never joined here! My Alembic bass is a 1985 Spoiler/Exploiter - I've got a bunch of other instruments too, perhaps the most interesting being a '76 Rickenbacker 4001 and a Tune 8-string bass, plus a couple of Moogs...
I've been lurking for a couple of days. Some really cool pictures and stories!
I've got a website with some of my music on it:

The second track from the top, Spewch, has the Exploiter on it. In fact, the first version of Spewch might have the Alembic on it too, but with old strings - I don't quite remember!
Anyway, nice to meet you all!

Hi Harry; nice music! I'm listening to Is Free right now, really nice. Are you playing all the parts?

Welcome to the club Harry! Post pics at your earliest convenience. We like them a lot.
Peace,
Darrell
-
nice music! - thanks!
Are you playing all the parts? - I wish! LOL
Nope, I only play bass and synths - guitar is courtesy of the amazing Gary Backstrom, guitarist for Jiggle (formerly Jiggle the Handle) in the Boston area. Drums are by my good friend Greg DeGuglielmo - he used to play in Max Creek (another New England band) back in the late '80s-early '90s.
RE: pics - don't tempt me! I'm working on a paper for school right now, and it's taking all my willpower not to dig through the pictures I have, resize them and post them! I'm gonna turn in the paper tomorrow, I'll work on it then I promise!

I echo the nice music compliments. Really nice stuff, very listenable while still stretching the limits of improvisation. Kewl! Welcome
