Hello everyone, my name is Matt.
I've been a dead head for about 15 years, and been playing an acoustic guitar for about 5 years. I started looking into Jerry's guitars a little more a few months ago, and of course was lead to this Eden. I don't gig or anything, but I love guitars and playing. These specimens I have seen from Alembic have brought out a lust that can only be quenched with acquisition. I look forward to learning more, and someday owning one of these American Beauties.
Hello from Minnesota,
Matt (Doc)

Hello Doc,
Yeah, the showcase section and featured cusom archive are dangerous even to us somewhat longer term residents. i hope you enjoy musical lust in your heart, because you'll get it here for sure!
By the way, welcome to our little infirmary.

Doc, welcome to the club. I suppose it is hard to be into the Dead and not become drawn to Alembic. The two were practically joined at the hip for a very long time.

Hi Doc; welcome to the group.

Hi Doc, nice to meet you. I gotta ask, what's a mobile closer? If you don't mind that is.
Sam

Welcome, Doc. And I was wondering the same thing as Sam.

I close real estate transactions where ever they are needed. Usually it's folks refinancing and closing at home rather than the title office. I drive around and listen to Grateful Dead, singing as loud as I can. Then I turn down the radio as I pull into their driveways, and put on a straight face as I knock on their door and say Hello, I'm your closer. It makes me chuckle sometimes.

Rich said it is hard to be into the Dead and not become drawn to Alembic. Actually, it was the other way 'round for me.
I started listening to the Dead after I got my first Alembic. I was so enamored of the sound that I sought out other Alembic players and discovered Phil, Stanley, Jack and others. Just another great contribution that Alembic has made to my life.

Hi Doc,
Welcome!
When the time comes and you close on your Alembic guitar you will be one step closer and far more able to reproduce the sounds you love from others as well as gaining more of your own voice. There really is no way to explain it.... suffice to say,
your in good company, and we do understand.....
Glad to have you here.
