Its an Epic with a walnut top and ebony board... 4 string... I eventually want the new balance body style, but I figured Id work my way up... my other basses are...
2 P basses (one 59 blonde, one 63 fretless)
1972 Ric
1994 Zon Sonus FL
Line6 Varibass
2 Stambaugh Customs (look under Jon Clark)
3 Marchlewksi Customs (look under Jon Clark)
and now this epic...

Well, if James asked you to check in, then a hearty welcome is certainly in order!
Interesting collection of basses, and once you get a bit more familiar with your new Epic, we'd like to hear what you think of it.
Speak freely, it's not a competition. Different strokes, variety is the spice of life, etc.
Nevertheless, congratulations :-)

Jon, welcome to the club and congrats on getting the Epic. Of course, we like to see pics here whenever you can get to it. But we understand that it takes a while to pry your hands from the new bass and pick up a camera.

Welcome Jon,
That's a fine looking Epic. I also have a fretted walnut Epic, which I enjoy so much I had to (and did) find a fretless as well. It has a maple top. I hope you enjoy your time around the club. Don't be a stranger.

Welcome from yet another Epic owner Jon. You've made a very good choice for your first Alembic.
